Not the best picture, but I finally finished the loose 'lantern pants'. Made with a very light rayon - blue jean color. I even made the waist very loose - hate a sweaty waist on a hot day!
FABRIC: Imagine Gnats - santa barbara tencel/cotton chambray
I ended up donating these - just felt dumpy wearing them.

Jalie 2795 My First Hoodie
Finally finished my first sewn hoodie (including thumbholes.) I made so many mistakes and had to re-do so many things, that parts of it are just mickey mouse'd together - aargh!
At least I learned a few things. Of course, I'll still wear it. :-)
Thanks to this sew along, I did get thru it:
Going to make a red jacket next.
I'll use a simple pattern that I created with Garment Designer software.

Black rayon-linen kimono style jacket
Not finished, but finally, something's turning out right.
A simple unlined black rayon-linen
kimono style jacket for summer.
It will actually be 6 inches longer when finished...
I'll post an updated picture when done.

TNT Top
Here's my ultra basic, super simple TNT (Tried 'N True) Top that I sew over and over in different knit fabrics. I wear them all the time. I did make some effort to get a nice fit, but now it's very easy to cut one out and stitch it up, mostly on the serger.
It's a one-piece, boatneck, elbow length sleeve pattern. The front and the back are the same. Drop a little food on my lunch hour? No problem, just flip it around and go back to work!

My Current Wardrobe
There are also some folded pants, jeans, t-shirts, elsewhere, but this is basically my wardrobe right now. I try to keep my color palette in mind, so things would go together well.
It's very casual, but that suits my lifestyle. I wear the same things to work as I do on my days off, so I don't need a lot of clothes and I LOVE comfort - a lot of sewing with knits.

My Color Palette
There is a method to my madness, after all...
I'm more or less sticking to these colors for my clothes, so everything would coordinate better. For pants, I only wear black or jeans. The lighter/brighter colors cheer the outfit up.
