TNT Top

Here's my ultra basic, super simple TNT (Tried 'N True) Top that I sew over and over in different knit fabrics. I wear them all the time. I did make some effort to get a nice fit, but now it's very easy to cut one out and stitch it up, mostly on the serger.

It's a one-piece, boatneck, elbow length sleeve pattern. The front and the back are the same. Drop a little food on my lunch hour? No problem, just flip it around and go back to work!

  1. Ventura! I went to school in Ventura many years ago - I lived in Oxnard at that time.

  2. Hi Chris - I think you need to sew a little bit more - your wardrobe puts me to shame...I can hardly close my doors, but it's all home sewn! You've got catch-up to do - LOL!
Lovely to 'meet' you' and isn't a TNT the best discovery ever?

  3. Those tried and tested patterns are so hard to get rid of, isn’t it? No matter how many patterns are available these days, we always go back to basics. I think mine would be my tank tops. I have loads of them in different color and fabrics!

    1. You are SO right, Kayla! I rarely buy patterns these days, because they just never fit me that well, and fitting adjustments are the hardest and most time-consuming part of sewing for me. Thanks for stopping by...
